World-level sociotechnical transitions’ specialist Bernhard Truffer meets with Sus2Trans



On the 5th of May, the research team of the Sus2Trans project met with Professor Bernhard Truffer (ETH Zürich and University of Utrecht), at ISCTE, in Lisbon. Professor Truffer is one of the founding authors of the field of sustainability transitions research and consultant to the project. The meeting aimed to discuss with the consultant the Sus2Trans approach to the study of sustainable transformative transition strategies and the progress of this research.


In the same occasion, Professor Truffer also gave a master class on the topic “Assessing transitions through socio-technical configurations analysis.” This event was promoted by the Sus2Trans project in partnership with the Integrating Transversal Line (LTI) - Innovation and Transition for Sustainable Societies of the DINÂMIA'CET-Iscte research unit. The master class presented the results of the most recent research being carried out in the area, as well as offered further opportunities to interact with researchers, professors, students and other guests.
